Planet Positive
Approved Design have this year achieved “Planet Positive” status and whilst we usually keep a low profile and keep our achievements to ourselves, we thought we should share this initiative with you.
Planet Positive is a globally accepted carbon reduction initiative created by dcarbon8. It is increasingly being looked for by clients who want to ensure their supply chain meets exacting standards and have a determination to make a difference in the way we treat earth's resources.
Approved Design have been pleased to be part of the team on Sainsbury new distribution centre at Pineham which is the world's first “Carbon net positive” food distribution centre. We are also working on “Thanet Earth” the £80 million revolutionary hi-tech greenhouse complex on the Isle of Thanet.
Additionally, just completed the new sustainable centre for Wolseley in Leamington Spa and the £40 million groundbreaking “Colmore Plaza” office development in Birmingham are testimony that being green does not mean compromising on style or quality.
